Amigurumi Possum free pattern

Hello friends. Today I will share with you the Amigurumi Possum free pattern. I hope everyone will enjoy this crochet pattern. This crochet pattern I collected from @yarns_n_nobles.

Tail: Chain 10 in pink yarn; cut yarn and attach to back of possum around row 15.

Ears: With black yarn 5sc into mc; do not join. Make two.

Attach between rounds 7-8 above eyes.

Materials used:

– Worsted weight yarn (4)

– Size 4 crochet hook

– Safety eyes (5 or 6 mm)

(Feel free to change yarn type and size; just adjust the size of your hook and eyes.)

Abbreviation:

mc – magic circle

st – stitch

sc – single crochet

inc – increase

dec – decrease

cc – change color

Pattern:

1: Begin with cream yarn; 6sc into a mc [6]

2: 1 sc in each st [6]

3: inc x6 [12]

4: 1 sc in each st [12]

5: (1 sc, inc) x6 [18]

6: 1 sc in each st [18]

7: (2sc, inc) x6 [24]

8: Change color to gray; 1sc in each st [24]

9: 1sc; cc to pink- bobble stitch; cc to gray – 3 sc; cc to pink – bobble stitch; cc to gray – 18 sc [24]

10-12: 1 sc in each st [24]

13: 2 sc, cc to pink- bobble stitch; cc to gray – 3 sc; cc to pink – bobble stitch; cc to gray – 17 sc [24]

If using safety eyes, place them between rows 5-6 (see photos for placement)

14: (2sc, dec) x6 [18]

15: Decrease x9 [9]

16: (1 sc, dec) x3 [6]

Finish off and secure yarn tail. Embroider nose and mouth.
