Buckleberry Ridge crochet Hat

Hello everyone. Today I will share with you the Buckleberry Ridge crochet Hat. Hope you will like it and have relaxing moments and all the patterns here are shared by me for free, there will be no payment required. I collected this crochet pattern from @yarnspirations.com.

SKILL LEVEL: EASY

MATERIALS

Red Heart® Super EasyTM (8.8 oz/250 g; 238 yds/218 m)

Sizes: Small 2 152/139 Large 2 173/158.5

HAT: Contrast A Aran (0005) balls yds/m

POMPOM : Contrast B Moss (0007) 1 ball or 45 yds/41 m Size U.S. L/11 (8 mm) Susan Bates® crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge. Susan Bates® yarn needle. Tape measure.

Optional: Clover Extra Large Pom Maker. SIZES

To fit Adult head sizes: Small (Large).

Finished circumference: 20 (21-22)” [51 (53.5-56) cm].

GAUGE
8 sc and 10 rows = 4″ [10 cm].

Beg = Beginning

Ch = Chain(s)

Rep = Repeat

RS = Right side

Sc = Single crochet

St(s) = Stitch(es)

Tog = Together

WS = Wrong side

INSTRUCTIONS

The instructions are written for S. If changes are necessary for larger size the instructions will be written S (L). Numbers for each size are shown in the same color throughout the pattern. When only one number is given in black, it applies to both sizes.

Note: Hat is worked side to side.

Ch 29 (31) leaving a 24″ [61 cm] long end for seaming later. 1st row: (RS). 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each ch to end of chain. Turn. 28 (30) sc.

2nd row: Ch 1. Working in back loops only, 1 sc in each sc to end of row. Turn.

Rep 2nd row until work from beg measures 18 (20)” [45.5 (51) cm] ending on a WS row. Fasten off.

Finishing: Using end from foundation ch, weave yarn through top of Hat and gather tog securely. Sew center back seam. Turn back cuff as shown in photo.

Pompom: Wind B around 4 fingers 150 times. Tie tightly in the middle and leave a long end for attaching to Hat. Cut loops at both ends and trim to smooth round shape. Sew securely to top of Hat as shown in photo.
