Size: Approx. 13 cm (about 5.11 inches).

 

Materials:

– YarnArt Jeans, next colors: beige No73, red No26, blue No15, white No62, pink No78 (for cheeks).

– 2.25 mm crochet hook.

– 6 mm black safety eyes.

– Toys filler.

– Stitch marker.

Abbreviations:

MR – magic ring;

ch – chain stitch;

sc – single crochet;

inc – increase;

dec – decrease;

Notes:

– Crochet continuously in a spiral, unless otherwise specified. No need to close each row with a slip stitch.

– In order to not lose track of the number of worked stitches in each round, use a stitch marker to mark the beginning of each round.

– Tightly and gradually fill all the details of the toy in the process of crocheting. Stuff legs, body and head firmly, stuff as you go.

 

Leg 1:

Start working with red yarn.

1. 6 sc in MR (6)

2. 6 inc (12)

3. (3 sc, inc)x3 (15)

4. 15 sc (15)

5. 5 sc, 3 dec, 4 sc (12)

6. 5 sc, 2 dec, 3 sc (10)

7. 10 sc (10)

Continue on with blue.

8-13. 10 sc (10) Fasten off, leave a tail to close the gap between the legs later.

 

Leg 2 + body + head:

1–13. Repeat Leg 1.

Don’t cut the yarn.

Crochet another 5 sc.

Move the marker to the last loop.

Now we will start with the body.

14. ch 2, join Leg 2 to Leg 1 with 1 sc, continue with 9 sc, 2 sc in the chain, 10 sc on Leg 2 (24).

The beginning of your rounds should be on the back of the toy.

15. 7 sc, inc, 11 sc, inc, 4 sc (26) Stuff the legs.

Continue on with blue.

45. 6 dec. Cut the yarn. Fasten off.

Embroider cheeks with a bit of pink yarn.

 

Arm x2:

Crochet with red.

1. 7 sc in MR (7)

2-3. 7 sc (7)

Continue on with white.

4. 7 sc (7)

Continue on with blue.

5-12. 7 sc (7)

Do not stuff of the arms.

Press the opening with your fingers, align 3 stitches side by side and work 1 sc through both sides (3 sc).

Fasten off.

Leave a long tail to sew.

 

Shield:

Start working with blue yarn.

1. 7 sc in MR (7)

2. 7 inc (14)

Continue on with red.

3. (1 sc, inc)x7 (21)

Continue on with white.

Continue on with red.

Cut the yarn.

Fasten off.

Embroider a star on the shield.

 

Helmet: Using blue.

Try the helmet on the head as you go along.

Leave a long tail to sew.

 

Finishing:

– Embroider a star on the character’s chest.

– Sew the helmet to the head.

– Stickers are used for the letter A and the star. You can work with crochet if you wish.

– Embroider white ‘A’ on helmet.

– Sew the arms to the sides of the body.
