Cat head crochet pattern

MATERIALS:

– Crochet yarn, thickness 2.0mm (US 0) or 2.25mm (US 1) or 2.5mm (US)

– Black embroidery yarn.

– Security eyes 8mm.

– Stuffing

– Threading needle

– Pin needles.

MR – magic ring

ch – chain

ss – slip stitch

sc – single crochet

hdc – half double crochet

inc – increase, 2 sc in 1 stitch

dec – decrease, crochet 2 sc together

BLO – back loops only

EARS: (make 2)

Rnd 1. 5 sc in MR (5)

Rnd 2. (1 sc, inc) x 2, 1 sc (7)

Rnd 3. (2 sc, inc) x 2, 1 sc (9)

Rnd 4. (3 sc, inc) x 2, 1 sc (11)

Rnd 5. (4 sc, inc) x 2, 1 sc (13)

Rnd 6. (5 sc, inc) x 2, 1 sc (15)

Do not stuff the ears.

Finish off, but leave a long thread for sewing. Flatten the ears and sew them to the head.

Finish off, but leave a long tail for sewing.

Insert the safety eyes 8 mm in between rounds 14 and 15, leaving 13 stitches in between. Stuff the head.

Embroider the nose and mouth using black embroidery yarn.
