Bernat® Baby Blanket Frosting™ (10.5 oz/300 g; 220 yds/201 m)

Main Color (MC) Cloudy (61013) 2 balls or 440 yds/402 m

Contrast A Seaside (61004) 1 ball or 128 yds/117 m

Contrast B Meadow (61003) 1 ball or 104 yds/95 m

Contrast C Candy Dots (61017) 1 ball or 104 yds/95 m

Contrast D Lilac Lounge (61007) 1 ball or 128 yds/117 m

Size U.S. L/11 (8 mm) Susan Bates® crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge. Susan Bates® yarn needle.

MEASUREMENTS

Approx 40″ x 48″ [101.5 x 122 cm].

GAUGE

7 sc and 8 rows = 4″ [10 cm].

 

INSTRUCTIONS

Notes:

Use separate sections of yarn for each area of color in the Chart.

To change color, work to last 2 loops on hook and draw new color through last 2 loops, then proceed in new color.

See Chart below

Using separate yarn sections: Beg with MC as Color 1 and A as Color 2. *With Color 1, ch 10. With Color 2, ch 10. Rep from * twice more. With Color 1, ch 11. 71 ch total.

Work Chart in sc, reading RS rows from right to left and WS rows from left to right and noting that each square represents 1 sc as follows:

1st row: (RS). With Color 1, 1 sc 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each of next 9 ch. *With Color 2, 1 sc in each of next 10 ch. With Color 1, 1 sc in each of next 10 ch. Rep from * twice more. Turn. 70 sc.

2nd row: With Color 1, ch 1. 1 sc in each of first 10 sc. *With Color 2, 1 sc in each of next 10 sc. With Color 1, 1 sc in each of next 10 sc. Rep from * twice more. Turn. First 2 rows of Chart are complete.
