Crochet Tulip bucket hat

Abbreviations

MR – magic ring

Rnd (R) – round

st/sts – stitch/stitches

ch – chain

sc – single crochet

dc – double crochet

sl st – slip stitch

FV: increase single double stitch

HAT PART

R1: MR 14dc

R2: 3ch, 14FV

R3: 3ch, 14(dc, FV)

R4: 3ch, 14(dc, FV, dc)

R5: 3ch, 14(3dc, FV)

R6: 3ch, 14(2dc, FV, 2dc)

If you want a bigger hat, crochet 1 – 2 – 3 more rounds, increase the stitches depending on the size of the head circumference

Example:

R7: 3ch, 14(5dc, FV)

R8: 3ch, 14(3dc, FV, 3dc)

R9: 3ch, 14(7dc, FV)…

Continue to crochet the next row after having the appropriate cone width

R7: 3ch, 6(13dc, FV)

R8-R12: 3ch, crochet all dc stitches

R13-R14: 3ch, (dc, 1ch, Skip 1) repeat to the end of the row
