MATERIALS

– Crochet hook size: 2.00 mm for small, 2.5 mm for medium, 3.00 mm for large

– Scissors and needle

– 8/4 cotton yarn (1.8 oz (50 g) = approx 175 yds (160 m))

– Teddy bear stuffing

ss – slip stitch

sc – single crochet

hdc – half double crochet

dc – double crochet

inc – increase

dec – decrease

** – repeat the sequence

 

DONUT

Chain 20 and join with a slip stitch. Be careful not to turn the chain before joining the ends. Start the first round by chaining one, but this only applies to first round.

R1: *1 sc, 1 inc* x 10 (30)

R2: *1 sc in each stitch* (30)

R3: *2 sc, 1 inc* (40)

R4: *1 sc in each stitch* (40)

R5: *3 sc, 1 inc* (50)

R6-11: *1 sc in each stitch* (50)

R12: *3 sc, 1 dec* x 10 (40)

R13: *1 sc in each stitch* (40)

R14: *2 sc, 1 dec* x 10 (30)

R15: *1 sc in each stitch* (30)

R16: *1 sc, 1 dec* x 10 (20)

R17: *1 sc in each stitch* (20)

Sew the donut together at the opening in the middle. It is easiest to fill it as you go.

 

ICING
