INSTRUCTIONS
The instructions are written for XS/S. If changes are necessary for larger size(s) the instructions will be written XS/S (M-LXL-2/3XL-4/5XL). Numbers for each size are shown in the same color throughout the pattern. When only one number is given in black, it applies to all sizes.
Notes:
• Ch 2 at beg of row does not count as st.
• Ch 3 at beg of row counts as dc.
• To change color, work to last 2 loops on hook of previous color. Yoh with new color, draw through loops and proceed with new color.
BACK
**With MC, ch 77 (83-91-97-105-111).
1st row: (RS). 1 hdc in 3rd ch from hook and each ch to end of chain. Turn. 75 (81-89-95-103-109) hdc.
2nd to 4th rows: Ch 2. 1 hdc in each hdc to end of row. Turn. Join A at end of 4th row. Do not break MC.
5th row: With A, ch 1. Working in back loops only, 1 scbl in each hdc to end of row. Turn.
6th row: Ch 4 (counts as dc and ch 1). Skip next sc. *1 dc in next sc. Ch 1. Skip next sc. Rep from * to last sc. 1 dc in last sc. Turn.
Join MC. Break A.
7th row: With MC, ch 1. Working in back loops only, 1 scbl in each dc or back loop of ch-1 sp to end of row. Turn.
8th and 9th rows: Ch 2. 1 hdc in each st to end of row. Turn. Rep 2nd to 9th rows for Body Pat until work from beg measures approx 15″ [38 cm], ending on 8th row.
Shape armholes: 1st row: (RS). Sl st in each of first 5 (6-6-7-7-8) hdc. Ch 2. 1 hdc in same sp as last sl st. 1 hdc in each hdc to last 4 (5-5-6-6-8) hdc. Turn. Leave rem sts unworked. 67 (71-79-83-91-93) sts.**
Cont even in pat, until armholes measure approx 9 (9-9½-9½-10-10½)” [23 (23-24-24-25.5-28) cm], ending on a WS hdc row.
Fasten off.
FRONT
Work from ** to ** as given for Back.
Cont even in pat, until armholes measure approx 3 (3-3½-3½-4-4½)” [7.5 (7.5-9-9-10-11.5) cm] less than Back before shoulders, ending on a 2nd or 8th row of pat.
Shape left neck edge: 1st row: (RS). Ch 2. 1 hdc in each of first 18 (20-22-22-24-24) hdc. Hdc2tog. Turn. Leave rem sts unworked. 19 (21-23-23-25-25) sts.
2nd row: Ch 2. Hdc2tog. 1 hdc in each hdc to end of row. Turn. 18 (20-22-22-24-24) sts.
3rd row: Ch 2. 1 hdc in each hdc to last 2 sts. Hdc2tog. Turn. 17 (19-21-21-23-23) sts rem.
Cont even in pat until armhole measures same length as Back before shoulder, ending on WS hdc row.
Fasten off.
With RS facing skip next 27 (27-31-35-39-41) sts. Join MC with sl st to next hdc and proceed as follows:
1st row: (RS). Ch 2. Hdc2tog (over same sp as last sl st and next hdc). 1 hdc in each hdc to end of row. Turn. 19 (21-23-23-25-25) sts.
2nd row: Ch 2. 1 hdc in each hdc to last 2 sts. Hdc2tog. Turn. 18 (20-22-22-24-24) sts.
3rd row: Ch 2. Hdc2tog. 1 hdc in each hdc to end of row. Turn. 17 (19-21-21-23-23) sts rem.

SLEEVES
With MC, ch 37 (39-41-45-49-51).
1st row: (RS). 1 hdc in 3rd ch from hook and each ch to end of chain. Turn. 35 (37-39-43-47-49) hdc.
2nd and 3rd rows: Ch 2. 1 hdc in each hdc to end of row. Turn.
4th row: Ch 2. 2 hdc in first hdc. 1 hdc in each hdc to last hdc. 2 hdc in last hdc. Turn. Join A. Do not break MC. 37 (39-41-45-49-51) hdc.
5th row: With A, ch 1. Working in back loops only, 1 scbl in each hdc to end of row. Turn.
6th row: Ch 4 (counts as dc and ch 1). Skip next sc. *1 dc in next sc. Ch 1. Skip next sc. Rep from * to last sc. 1 dc in last sc.
Turn. Join MC. Do not break A.

PM at each end of last row.
Work next 2 (2-2-3-3-4) rows even in pat. Break A.
Proceed with MC only:
Shape top: 1st row: Ch 2. Hdc2tog. 1 hdc in each hdc to last 2 sts. Hdc2tog. Turn.
Rep last row 3 times more. Fasten off.
FINISHING
Pin all pieces to measurements. Cover with a damp cloth leaving cloth to dry.
Neckband: Sew right shoulder seam.
With MC, ch 8.
1st row: (RS). 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each ch to end of chain. Turn. 7 sc.
2nd row: Ch 1. 1 sctbl in each sc to end of row. Turn. Rep last row until Neckband measures length to fit around neck edge, when slightly stretched, sewing in place as you work. Sew left shoulder and neckband seam. Sew in Sleeves placing rows above between markers along unworked sts of Front and Back to form square armholes. Sew side and sleeve seams.
