Free Monkey crochet pattern

Hello everyone, today I would like to share with everyone free Monkey crochet pattern, this pattern is my collection of @malinka.crochet

MATERIALS

– Size 5 chunky yarn

– 6mm crochet hook

– Stuffing

– 10mm safety eyes

– Darning needle

– You can use whatever yarn type you prefer!

ABBREVIATIONS

Sc – single crochet

inc – increase

dec – decrease

BLO – crochet in back loops only

FO – fasten off

LEGS X 2

Start with light brown

1. 6 sc in a magic ring

2. 6 inc (12)

3. (sc inc)x 6 (18)

Change to dark brown

4 – 11. in BLO (only the 4th row) sc x 18 (18) – 8 rows

Cut yarn for the first leg and FO, but don’t cut the yarn for the second leg & continue to the body

BODY

From the second leg, chain 2, connect to the first leg with a sc

Stuff and leave a long tail for sewing

FACE

With light brown

FO, Sew in the middle of the head.

NOSE

With light brown

1. Chain 7

2. From the second chain of the hook, 5 sc, 3 sc in one chain, 5sc, 3 sc in one chain (16)

3. sc x 16 (16)

FO, sew in the lower part of the face (below the middle) and stuff lightly.

Place safety eyes above the nose.

Embroider a small line

with dark brown yarn,

INNER EARS

Make two with light brown

1. 6 sc in a magic ring

FO.

HANDS X 2

Start with light brown

1. 6 sc in a magic ring

2. (sc, inc)x 3 (9)

3. (2sc, inc) x 3 ) x 3(12)

Change to dark brown

4. In BLO, 12 sc, back to normal loops,

5.-12. 12 sc (8 rows)

Stuff lightly. Fold the last row in half and sc through both sides. FO and leave a tail for sewing.

OUTER EARS

Make two with dark brown

1. 6 sc in a magic ring

2. 6 inc (12)

Align with one inner ear and sc through both the inner and the outer ear with brown yarn. FO.

TAIL

Using dark brown

1. 6 sc in a magic ring

2.- 20. 6 sc (19 rows)

Fold last row in half and sc through both sides. Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.

ASSEMBLY

Sew arms below the head (on round 20) Sew the tail onto the back of the body around row 14 & the ears on the two sides of the head vertically.
