Little Angel crochet pattern
Today I will share with you how to make a little angel, you can be as creative as you want. Now let’s start with this little Angel crochet pattern from @ateliedianaducheiko.
Materials:
Color yarn:
Beige, white, brown and Mustard
Any color for the clothes
Safety eyes 7mm
Crochet hook 2mm
Brown embroidery thread
Fiber filling
Sewing needle
Stitch marker
Blush for the cheecks
Abreviations:
sc: single crochet
inc: increase
dec: decrease
hdc: half double crochet
dc: double crochet
sl st: slip stitch
BLO: back loop only
FLO: front loop only
Body and Head
With yarn in the color of the clothes make:
1. 6sc into magic ring
2. 6inc (12)
3. (1sc, 1inc) x6 (18)
4. (2sc, 1inc) x6 (24)
5. 24sc BLO
6. 24sc
7. (6sc, 1dec) x3 (21)
8. 21sc
9. (5sc, 1dec) x3 (18)
10. 18sc
11. 9dec (9)
Change to beige color Star the head
12. 9inc FLO (18)
13. (2sc, 1inc) x6 (24)
14-18. 24sc
Place safety eyes between rows 15 and 16 with 5sc of distance between them.
19. (2sc, 1dec) x6 (18)
20. (1sc, 1dec) x6 (12)
21. 6dec
Embroider the details on the eyes and eyebrows.
Apply blush on the cheeks.
Hair
With brown color yarn:
1. 6sc into magic ring
2. 6inc (12)
3. (1sc, 1inc) x6 (18)
4. (2sc, 1inc) x6 (24)
5. (7sc, 1inc) x3 (27)
6-9. 27sc
Finish with a slip stitch and leave a long thread to sew on the head.
Wings (2x)
With white color yarn:
1. 6sc into magic ring
2. 6inc (12)
3-5. 12sc
6. Fold in half and close the wings making:
In the 1st wing: 4sc, lhdc inc, Idc inc anf finish with a sl st. In the 2nd wing: 2 chains, Idc inc, lhdc inc, 4sc and finish with a sl st.
In both, leave a long thread to sew to the back of the little angel.
Halo
With mustard color yarn:
1. Make 24 chains, close with a sl st forming a circle.
2. 24sl st all araund the chains.
Finish with a sl st and leave a thread to sew on the head.
And your little angel is ready!
You can use it as a keychain, as a christening and first communion souvenir, a maternity souvenir, the possibilities are endless! Use your creativity!
