Sunflower crochet pattern

Today we will make a sun flower together. Everyone can make many flowers of different sizes to create a bouquet. I really want my desk to have a vase of flowers that I made myself. This Sunflower crochet pattern I collected from @Marybrowncraft. Let’s get started now.

Materials and yarn:

Yarn Art Baby Cotton 50% PAC and 50% cotton

1.75 MM crochet hook

Yarn needle

Scissors

Stitch marker

Wire diameter1 MM

Wire pliers insulating tape

Hot glue

Abbreviations

ch – chain stitch

sc – single crochet (US)

hdc – half double crochet

dec – sc next 2 stitches together (single crochet decrease)

inc – sc in indicated stitch 2 times (single crochet increase)

BO – bobble stich (crochet 3 double crochet stitches together in the same stitch)

BLO – work in back loop only

Make a magic loop using the brown yarn:

1 rnd: 6sc single crochet in magic ring

2 rnd: (2hdc in one ch.,) 6 x times (12)

3 rnd: BLO (sc, inc) 6 x times (18)

4 rnd: BLO (2sc, inc) 6 x times (24)

5 rnd: BLO (3sc, inc) 6 x times (30)

6 rnd: 30sc around

7 rnd: BLO (3sc, dec) 6 x times (24)

8 rnd: BLO (2sc, dec) 6 x times (18)

9 rnd: (sc, dec) 6 x times (12)

10 rnd: (dec) 6 x times (6) break the yarn and close remaining 6 stitches through the front loops

Join brown yarn, as in the photo and crochet up to the 5th rnd: BO, break the yarn

Flower petals

Yellow yarn crochet 10ch:

1 rnd: (sc in ch) 8 x times, 2sc – 2ch – 2sc in one ch., (sc in ch) 8 x times, ch and turn

2 rnd: (sc in ch) 10 x times, sc ch sc in one ch., (sc in ch) 10 x times, break the yarn and leaving a long yarn tail for sew. x17 ch.

Stem

Green yarn crochet:

1 rnd: 6sc single crochet in magic ring

2 rnd: 6sc x crochet until 16cm, then (inc) 6 x times (12)

3 nrd:(sc, inc) 6 x times (18)

4 nrd: (2sc, inc) 6 x times (24)

5 nrd: 24sc around, break the yarn

Place the wire inside. Sew all the petals to the brown part. And then sew or glue the stem, as in the photo.
