Five-petal flower crochet pattern
Today I would like to share with everyone how to crochet a five-petal flower, with this product you can make a keychain or hang it on your personal belongings, this crochet pattern is a collection of Meraki Ftudio. Now let’s get started.
Materials:
– crochet hook (I used 0.85 mm hook, but you could use a bigger
– hook and thicker yarn)
– cotton yarn (2 or 3 colours)
– earring hooks
– sewing needle
Abbreviations
R- round
ch – chain
sl st – slip stitch
Sc-single crochet
dc – double crochet
Start with a magic ring
R1-ch3 into the magic ring (counts as the 1st dc), 1dc, ch1, *2 dc, chain 1* repeat 5 times
Join with a sl st to the third chain, pull the thread to tighten the magic ring
Fasten off
R2 use colour 2
Insert the hook in the 1st ch1 space ch5 (3 chains count as a dc + 2 more chains), 2 dc in the same space, ch1
*in the next chain1 space 2 dc, ch2, 2 double crochets, chain 1* repeat 5 times
At the end of the round and you just need to make another double crochet in the very first chain 1 space, then sl st to the third chain
TIP: weave in the ends when you do the round.
R3, same colour
Sl st to the first ch2 space, ch3 (counts as the first dc, 6 more dc in the same space, sl st in the next ch1 space *7 double crochets in the next ch2 space, sl st in the next ch1 space*, repeat 5 times
At the end of the rpund sl st to the third chain of the previous round
It already looks like a little flower
R4 introduce another colour when finishing the sl st of the previous round
Ch1, 1 sc in the third chain of the previous row, then 1 sc in each double crochet if the previous round. When you come to the sl st of the previous row, make a sc under round 3, so it will look longer.
Continue making one sc into each double crochet of the previous round and one “long” sc under the sl st of the previous round.
At the end of the round, sl st in the first sc
Change colour before finishing the sl st (I used colour1 for the last round, but you can add another colour)
R5 chain1, 1 sc in the first 3 sc of the previous round, in the next sc of the previous round 1 sc, chain1, another sc (you’re in the middle of the petal) 1 sc in three next sc of the previous round, 1 sc in the “long” sc of the previous round.
Continue like that for the rest of the petals.
So we have completed the Five-petal flower crochet pattern. Good luck with this crochet pattern. See you again in the next crochet patterns.
