Materials & Tools

– 15g 2mm grey yarn

– 10g 2mm purple yarn

– 10g 2mm orange yarn

– 2mm black & white yarn

– 3mm eye button

– Fiberfill for stuffing

– 2mm crochet hook

– Tapestry needles & scissors

Abbreviations

ch – chain stitch

st – stitch

sc – single crochet

sl st – slip stitch

inc – increase (2 sc in one st)

dec – decrease (2 sc together)

Body to Head

Use grey yarn

Row 1: magic circle [6]

Row 2: inc x6 [12]

Row 3: (sc, inc) x6 [18]

Row 4: (2 sc, inc) x6 [24]

Row 5: (3 sc, inc) x6 [30]

Row 6: (4 sc, inc) x6 [36]

Row 7: sc in all st [36]

Change color to purple

Row 8-10: sc in all st [36]

Change color to grey

Row 11-12: sc in all st [36]

Row 13: (4 sc, dec) x6 [30]

Row 14-16: sc in all st [30]

Row 17: (3 sc, dec) x6 [24]

Row 18: (2 sc, dec) x6 [18]

Stuff the head with fiberfill

Fasten off

Ears (make two)

Use purple yarn

Row 3: (2 sc, inc) x3 [12]

Row 4-5: sc in all st [12]

Row 6: (3 sc, inc) x3 [15]

Row 7: sc in all st [15]

Change color to orange

Row 8-9: sc in all st [15]

Change color to purple

Row 10: (sc, inc) x7, sc [22]

Row 11: (sc, inc) x3, 4 ch (skip 4 st), (sc, inc) x3, 4 ch (skip 4 st), sc, inc [29]

Row 12: (sc, inc) x14, sc [43]

Fasten off

Assembly

a. Sew ears on the head

b. Sew both wings on the back

c. Insert eyes between row 15-16

d. Create mouth and teeth on row 13-14 with black and white yarn

e. Make a knot then slip the orange yarn on row 9-10, make a knot then fasten off

f. Put on the hat
