Pink Pig crochet pattern

Today we will make a pink pig together. I collected this pink Pig crochet pattern from @Mumigurumi. Let’s get started.

MATERIALS

– Scheepjes Softfun Yarn

– Fibre content: 60% cotton, 40% acrylic

– Yarn weight: DK

– Length: 140 meter

– Ball weight: 50 grams

– Colors: pink and blue

You will also need

– 3 mm hook

– 9 mm safety eyes (2 pairs) and a bit of white felt

– A little bit of black lightweight yarn for decorating

– Polyester fiberfill for stuffing

– Tapestry needle

– Stitch markers

– A piece of aluminium wire for the tail (optional)

Body

Round 1: 8 sc in magic ring (8)

Round 2-5: sc around (8)

Fasten off. Make the 2nd leg the same way.

Do not fasten off.

Round 6: with the 2nd leg on your hook 4 ch and join the 1st leg with a slst. Now sc around the 1st leg (8 sc) and work 1 sc in each stitch along the chain (4 sc). Then 8 sc around the second leg and 4sc along the chain again.

Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Stuff slightly and push the top part inside.

Stuff very slightly and fasten off.

Fold in half and crochet through both layers. Fasten off. Leave a long tail for sewing.

Don’t stuff. No need to turn it inside out. Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing. Cut a piece of wire and place it inside, so you can twist the tail for a funny look.
