Today we will make a pumpkin together in a different way than usual. Let’s start with this the Pumpkin crochet pattern.

Materials:

– Yarn: DK light or sport cotton yarn

– Hook: Size 2 mm

– Needles for sewing.

– Fiberfill.

Abbreviations:

Rw/Rnd: row/round

MR: magic ring

st/sts: stitch/stitches

ch: chain

sc: single crochet

inc: increase

hdc: half double crochet

BLO: back loop only

slst: slip stitch

(..)*x…: repeat instructions x times

Large Pumpkin:

Rw1. Chain 38, start in the second chain from the hook: sc, 35 hdc, sc, chain 1, turn (37)

Rw2-35. BLO sc, 35 hdc, sc, chain 1, turn (37)

Rw36. BLO sc, 35 hdc, sc (37)

Fasten off, leave a long tail for sewing.

– Large pumpkin stem:

Rnd1. MR 6 sc

Rnd2-4. 6 sc

Rnd5. inc, 5 sc (7)

Rnd 6. 2 inc, 5 sc (9)

Rnd 7. (sc, inc)*4, sc (13)

Rnd 8. (2 sc, inc)*4, sc (17)

Fasten off, leave a long tail for sewing.

Medium Pumpkin:

Rw1. Chain 28, start in the second chain from the hook: sc, 25 hdc, sc, chain 1, turn (27)

Rw2-33. BLO sc, 25 hdc, sc, chain 1, turn (27)

Rw34. BLO sc, 25 hdc, sc (27)

Fasten off, leave a long tail for sewing.

– Medium pumpkin stem:

Rnd1. MR 6 sc

Rnd2-4.6 sc

Rnd5. inc, 5 sc (7)

Rnd 6. 2 inc, 5 sc (9)

Rnd 7. (sc, inc)*2, 5 sc (9)

Chain 15, start in the second chain from the hook: 14 slst on the chain, slst in the next stitch on round 7, chain 20, start in the second chain from the hook: 19 slst on the chain, slst in the next stitch on round 7.

Fasten off, leave a long tail for sewing.

Small Pumpkin:

Rw1. Chain 23, start in the second chain from the hook: sc, 20 hdc, sc, chain 1, turn (22)

Rw2-29. BLO sc, 20 hdc, sc, chain 1, turn (22)

Rw30. BLO sc, 20 hdc, sc (22)

Fasten off, leave a long tail for sewing.

– Small pumpkin stem:

Rnd1. MR 6 sc

Rnd2-4. 6 sc
