Candle crochet pattern

Abbreviations

MR – magic ring

Rnd (R) – round

ch – chain

st/sts – stitch/stitches

sc – single crochet

dc – double crochet

inc – increase (2 sc in one stitch)

dec – decrease (2 sc together)

hdc – half double crochet

hdcw – 3 hdc in the same stitch

wdc – 3 dc in the same stitch

(..) – repeat the instructions in brackets the given numbers of times

If the line of the flame is thinner than the line of the candle body, it will look better.

Candle body

1. 6sc

2. 6inc

3. (sc, inc)*6

4. Inner half needle 18sc

5-14: 18sc without adding or subtracting. If you like it higher, you can add

15. Hook inner needle (sc, dec)*6

16. 6dec disconnected

Candle & dripping wax hooked on the outer half stitch of row 15 (sc, hdc), sc, (7ch, inverted 3 hook wdc, hdc, 3sc), lead, dc, (dc, sc), (5ch inverted 3 hook hdcw, 2sc), 3sc, (8ch (sc, hdc, dc)*3, 6sc), 3sc, (4ch wdc, sc), 3sc, (5ch (sc, hdc, dc)*3), 2sc, (4ch hdcw, sc), sc, hdc.

Candle flame

Candle wick: 5ch inverted 2 hook 4sc

Stretch out the broken thread and leave the thread to sew the candle

Flame

1. (Red) Hook 4ch on the other end of the candle wick and hook 2 backwards, pull out, sc, disconnect

2. (Orange) hook the outermost half needle inc, 2sc, ch, 2sc, sc and disconnect it.

3. (yellow) inc, 4sc, 4ch reverse 2, sc, hdc, 3sc, inc disconnected
