Lizard coaster crochet pattern

Abbreviations:

MR – magic ring

Rnd (R) – round

ch – chain

sc – single crochet

dc – double crochet

inc – increase (2 sc in one stitch)

hdc – half double crochet

slst – slip stitch

W: 3 single stitches together

TA: decrease half double stitch (2 half double stitches together)

FA: decrease single double stitch

FV: increase single double stitch

Body: Combine two strands of yarn for crocheting, use a 3.5mm crochet hook. Other parts do not need yarn, crochet with a 2.5mm needle.

R1: MR 10dc

R2: 10FV

R3: 10 (dc, FV)

R4: 10 (dc, FV, dc)

R5: Crochet using reverse single crochet stitches, number of turns depends on the size you want, increase stitches according to the circular crochet rule.

Inside Mouth (Red):

R1: 10ch, turn and skip 1ch, 8sc, W, 7sc, inc

R2: inc, 7sc, 3inc, 7sc, 2inc

R3: (sc, inc), 7sc, 3(sc, inc), 7sc, 2(sc, inc) Cut yarn

Tongue

10ch, turn and skip 2ch, 8hdc

Head

R1: 14ch, join in a circle

R2: TA, 10dc, TA

R3: FV, 2dc, 6hdc, 2dc, FV

R4: 2dc, 3hdc, 4sc, 3hdc, 2dc

Hands & Feet

Insert needle into the appropriate position on the body

Then:

7ch, turn and crochet 2 slip stitches (2 single crochet stitches) from the 2nd stitch

2ch, turn back and crochet 2 slip stitches. Come up to the 2nd ch stitch, turn back and crochet 2 slip stitches. Then crochet 4 single crochet stitches.

Upper mouth:

R1: FV, 6dc, FV

R2: FA, 5dc, FA

R3: FA, 4dc, FA

R4: FA, 2dc, FA

Cut yarn

Lower mouth:

R1: 6hdc

R2: TA, 2hdc, TA

Connect the inside of the mouth (red) to the outside of the mouth with a single crochet stitch.

Eyes x2

R1: MR 6sc

R2: 6sc
