Crochet Cat bookmark pattern

Hello everyone. Today I will share with you the crochet Cat bookmark pattern. Hope you will like it and have relaxing moments and all the patterns here are shared by me for free, there will be no payment required.

Materials

– Size 2.0 mm crochet hook (or size needed for gauge)

– Cotton yarn in blue (main color) and white (contrast)

– Small amount of black embroidery thread for eyes/nose/mouth

– Yarn needle

– Scissors

– Small bead or pearl (optional, for loop detail)

Stitches Used (US Terms)

ch = chain

sc = single crochet

dc = double crochet

sl st = slip stitch

inc = increase (2 sc in same st)

dec = decrease (sc 2 together)

Head (Blue)

R1: With blue yarn, make a magic ring, 6 sc in ring (6)

R2: inc in each st around (12)

R3: (sc 1, inc) around (18)

R4: (sc 2, inc) around (24)

R5: (sc 3, inc) around (30)

Fasten off, weave ends.

Ears (Make 2, Blue)

Row 1: ch 2, sc in 2nd ch from hook (1)

Row 2: ch 1, turn, 2 sc in same st (2)

Row 3: ch 1, turn, so across (2)

Row 4: ch 1, turn, sc in first st, inc in next st (3)

Fasten off, leaving tail for sewing.

Placement: Sew ears to top left and right of head, betwe

Face Patch (White)

R1: With white yarn, make a magic ring, 6 sc in ring (6)

R2: (sc 1, inc) around (9)

Fasten off, sew to center of head. Embroider eyes (black,

Body (Blue)

Row 1: Join blue yarn at base of head, ch 7, sc in 2nd ch

Rows 2-20: ch 1, turn, sc across (6)

Fasten off.

Legs (Make 2, Blue with White Tips)

R1: With blue, magic ring, 6 sc (6)

R2: (sc 1, inc) around (9)

Change to white:

R3: sc around (9)

Fasten off, sew to bottom sides of body.

Tail (Blue)

Row 1: ch 15, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc across (14) Fasten off, sew to back of body.

Bookmark Loop

At top of head, attach blue yarn, ch 30 (or length desired) Add bead/pearl before closing loop il desired.
