Free Christmas tree crochet pattern
Hello, I continue to share with you the free Christmas tree crochet pattern, with this crochet pattern, you can completely help your Christmas tree become more sparkling.
Material : Abbreviations:
- Cotton : green colour, 1 skein Rd = Round
- Cotton : Red colour, 1 skein St= Stitch
- 2,5mm crochet hook Ch= Chain
- 1 tapestry needle Sl st = Slip stitch
- Fiberfill for stuffing Sc = Single Crochet
- A pair of scissors hdc = Half Double Crochet
- A ball of Christmas dc = Double Crochet
tr = Treble
Dec = Decrease (1sc in two sts)
Inc = Increase (2sc in the same s†)
*…* = repeat until the end of the row.
[…] = in one stitch
Ball (x3):
Red colour :
Rg 1 : 6 sc in a magic circle – 6
Rg 2: *1 sc, 1 inc* (x3) – 9
Rg 3 and 4 (2 rows): 1 dc in each st – 9
Rg 5 : *1 sc, 1 dec* (x3) – 6
Lightly fill the ball.
Finish with 1 sl st then cut the thread, close the piece: with your needle, pass your freshly
cut thread through the front strands of the last row and pull firmly. Pull in the wire to hide it.
Sheet (x3) :
Green colour :
Start with a chain and work on either side of the chain.
Rg 1 : make a chain of 12 ch + 1 ch – 12 (the last ml does not count, it is simply used to
turn around)
Rg 2: stitch into 2nd st from hook and make 2 sc, 2 hdc, 1dc, 2 tr, 1 dc, 2 hdc, 1 sc, 3 sc in
first ch of chain, continue on the other side of chain and make 1 sc, 2 hdc, 1 dc, 2 tr, 1 dc,
2 hdc, 2 sc – 25
Finish with 1 sl st then cut the wire and tuck it in to hide it.
Assembly:
Assemble the 3 sheets together making small stitches at the ends of each sheet.
Sew the 3 small balls together and then in the centre of the leaves.
Keep only 2 threads, go in and then cut the other threads. With the 2 threads waiting, tie
the creation around a Christmas ball.
