You won’t believe how easy it is to crochet this Stitch character! After many days of hard work, I finally finished this super cute Stitch crochet pattern. Everyone can read and follow this free Stitch crochet pattern to make it themselves. I collected this crochet pattern from@crochetcrove.
Skills Required
Magic circle, Single crochet, Invisible decrease, Fasten off, Chain, Increase, 3 single crochet increase, Slip stitch, Treble crochet bobble, Front loop only, Back loop only.
Abbreviations
MR- magic ring
SC- single crochet
DEC- decrease
FO- fasten off
CH- chain

3SCINC-3 sc increase (3sc in the same stitch)
SLST- slip stitch

IMPORTANT INFO
This pattern has a standing and sitting option for the alien. The head, ears, and arms are worked the same for both. The only difference is the legs and body.
3SCINC INSTRUCTIONS
– Work a single crochet.
– Work another single crochet stitch inserting your hook in same stitch.
– Work the third single crochet stitch inserting your hook in same stitch.
COLOR CHANGE INSTRUCTIONS
-Stop crocheting right before you pull through the last two loops on the crochet hook. Drop the old color of yarn.
-Put the new yarn color on the hook, and use the new color to pull through the last two loops on the hook.
TRBO INSTRUCTIONS
– To make a treble bobble stitch: Yarn over twice.
– Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over again and pull up a loop.
– Yarn over and pull through the first 2 loops on the hook.
– Yarn over and pull through the next 2 loops on hook.
– Repeat the steps above in the same stitch a total of 4 times. Do not pull through the remaining loops until there are 5 loops on the hook.
– Yarn over, pull through all loops on hook.

Felt
I use stiffened felt with heat and bond on the back and cut the whites the eyes 1.38in x 1.53in. The black of the eye is 1in x 1.11in.
For the nose I use navy felt with heat and bond on the back and cut it at the size 1.1in x 0.78in. You can adjust the sizes if needed.

Markers, Yarn Needle, Stuffing, Scissors.
Right Inner Ear
R1 In Cottoncandy ch9, turn your work and place 8sc down the chain. Then working in the back side of the chains place 8sc for a total of 16sc in round 1.
R2 inc, 6sc, (inc)x2, 6sc, inc (20)

In the next round place a stitch marker on the front loop that you will leave behind on the 12th sc.

Left Inner Ear

With your yarn still connected place the inner ear inside of the outer one and sc through both pieces. When you reach your stitch marker marking the front loop crochet through the outer ear and into the front loop to create an indent. Leave a tail for sewing. Sew the bottom three stitches together. Repeat for the second ear.

Use a yarn needle to thread through the back loops of the remaining 6 stitches. Pull tight to close, weave in the end.

Assembly
Ears
Sew three stitches down the side of the ear, sew the base of the ear lined up with the last round of light blue, and secure half way up the ear down to the head.
Legs Sitting
Sew on between rounds
4-9 of the body, leaving about
5 stitches between them.
