Insert safety eyes in round 8, 4 stitches apart from the center above the trunk. Stitch the arms and legs and make the running stitch for the neck to separate the head.
Stuff the legs, the arms, the body and then the head, pull the yarn ends tightly to form the neck and tie to secure, hide the ends inside the head. Close the opening, bring the yarn down through the head and out the back of the neck, cut and bury the ends inside the body. If using eyelashes, trim to desired length.
Trunk: {grey} Work the trunk starting on the center bottom opening of round 5 of the head where you skipped the 6 stitches.
Use the yarn under method for the trunk to minimize gaps between the stitches.
