Knife-holding duckling crochet pattern

Materials
Medium/worsted weight yarn:
– yellow (Y), orange (O), pink (P) Hook size: 4.0 mm
Yarn needle, scissors, polyfill
Black, white, yellow felt
Two 8.0 mm safety eyes

BODY
R1 With Y, sc 6 in magic ring (6)
R2 inc in each st around (12)
R3 (sc 1, inc) six times (18)
R4 (sc 2, inc) six times (24)
R5 sc in each st around (24)
R6 (sc 3, inc) six times (30)
R7-13 sc in each st around (30)
R14 (sc 3, dec) six times (24)
R15 (sc 2, dec) six times (18)
R16 (sc 1, dec) six times (12)
Insert safety eyes below R8 and 8 stitches apart.
R17 dec six times (6)
Finish with a sl st. Stuff with polyfill and sew the opening closed.
WING (Make 2)
R1 With Y, sc 6 in magic ring (6)
R2 (inc, inc, sc 1) two times (10)
R3 sc in each st around (10)

BEAK
R1 With O, sc 6 in magic ring (6)

FOOT (Make 2)

KNIFE HANDLE
With P, chain 4.
Skip first ch, sc 3, ch 1 and turn.
Skip first ch, sc 3, ch 1 and turn.

Fasten off.
Cut a knife blade shape out of gray felt using the template below.
