Cute emoji crochet pattern

Funny expressions on Facebook, Zalo, Snapchat, Instagram… look so cute, today I would like to share with you this cute emoji crochet pattern I collected.

ABBREVIATIONS FOR CUTE EMOJI CROCHET PATTERN

ch – chain

sc – single crochet

hdc – half double crochet

sl st – slip stitch

inc, dec – increase, decrease

[…] n times

repeat instruction in brackets n times

MAIN

Work with yellow color yarn.

Rnd 1: In a magic ring, sc 6 (6)

Rnd 2: [inc] 6 times (12)

Rnd 3: [sc 1, inc] 6 times (18)

Rnd 4: [sc 2, inc] 6 times (24)

Rnd 5-9: sc in each stitch for 5 rounds (24)

Rnd 10: [sc 2, dec] 6 times (18)

Rnd 11: [sc 1, dec] 6 times (12)

Rnd 12: [dec] 6 times (6)

Stuff and flatten it a bit. Fasten off.

HEART

Work with red/pink color yarn.

In a magic ring, ch 2, hdc 1, sc 1, ch 2, sc 1, hdc 1, ch 2 and sl st in the magic ring.

Tighten the magic ring.

Leave a long tail to sew later.

ASSEMBLING

Now it’s time to play freely! Let your creativity flow ~ Embroider the face using black thread, and sew the hearts on!

EMOJI 1:

Sew the eyes at round 6, with 2 sts between both eyes. Sew the mouth at round 8, 4~5 sts wide.

EMOJI 2:

Sew the hearts at round 5 to 7 as the eyes, about 1 st between both hearts. Sew the mouth between round 8 and 9, 3 sts wide.

EMOJI 3:

Sew the eyes at round 6, 2 sts wide for each eyes, about 2 sts between both eyes. Sew the mouth at round 8, 4 sts wide.
Position for the 3 hearts:

– round 3-5, above the eye – round 8-10, beside the mouth -round 9-11, below the mouth
